We arrived at Regent House School on Friday evening to a very warm welcome from our hosts Winnie and Florence who signed us in and directed us round to their husbands, Martin and Jack, who were parking the motorhomes.
Later we all gathered in the hall for a lively game of bingo, with Florence calling the numbers, Martin keeping a tight eye on the money and Winnie checking we got it right. Afterwards we had a nights craic while having background music from our DJ Joe.
Saturday was a beautiful dry crisp day. Members visited the town centre for a bit of retail therapy and a bite of lunch. Then back for an exciting day watching the rugby.
On Saturday night the hall was decorated in the forty shades of green (St Patrick would have been proud ) ready for the party. AND WHAT A PARTY WE HAD. Music was by Housty. He was brilliant and kept the dance floor busy all night. Even getting in the middle of the dancing himself.
Joe welcomed us all to coffee morning. Giving praise to all mothers and grandmother's on their special day. He thanked the hosts for all the wonderful work they did all weekend.
Eddie and Margaret O Donnell won the quiz. Joe thanked everyone for attending and making the weekend such a success. He hoped to see us all at our next event in Limavady on the 27th to 29th March.
