On Friday evening we arrived at Limavady High School and were warmly welcomed by our hosts Paul and Lesley. They signed us in then Joe and Martin parked us up. There was a very good turnout of motorhomes.
We gathered in the hall on Friday night where the buzz of conversation and laughter was mighty. This was the time for meet and greet and to catch up with friends and acquaintances over a pint or two. Paul and Lesley entertained us with a game of Deal or No Deal and raised some cash for club funds in the process. Joe provided some easy listening music before it was time to head to bed.
On Saturday the weather wasn’t great but a lot of members took the opportunity to head into the town for a pint or a bite to eat or even a bit of shopping. Saturday night we were back in the hall where we had live music provided by Niall Mc Henry. Our hosts assisted by Victor and Sandra conducted the raffle and it raised a good amount for club funds. A very enjoyable night was had by all.
At coffee morning on Sunday David was warmly greeted on his return from holiday. He thanked our hosts Paul and Lesley and their helpers Joe, Martin, Victor and Sandra. Our tea makers Winnie and Geraldine were also thanked. He wished Leonard Robinson and Paul Leaver happy birthday and welcomed new members Paul and Donna Cupples to the club. He also informed members that we were having an EGM at our Newcastle event on Friday 24 April. Details have been posted on our website, Facebook and WhatsApp.
Our next event is our three-day Easter event at Cookstown starting on 3 April. The start time for this event is 4pm.Hopefully see you all there.
